ATT&T to roll out Wi-Fi access to Starbucks 4 Years ago
AT&T said Monday it will soon deliver Wi-Fi service to more than 7,000 company-operated Starbucks coffeehouse locations across the United States, offering a mix of free and paid internet access designed to meet the needs of both frequent and occasional customers.

The partnership aims to expand and enhance the digital entertainment experience for Starbucks customers, building on the coffee retailer's ongoing rollout of free iTunes Wi-Fi Music Store access for users of Apple's iPod touch, iPhone and other portables running iTunes.

Maybe this will push out T-Mobile all together? Or at least provide more competitve pricing?

Free? We'll see. I doubt it. Starbucks is about making money.

I've tried to connect at a few Starbucks and a minimum of $10 charged to a credit card would make it work. No thanks.
