The latest iPhone update, 2.0.2, is intended to improve 3G reception.  That is what I figured.

I did a quick test and the first call I tried was dropped and I got the ever tiresome “call failed” message.

I’ll test some more, but for now it doesn’t seem that my iPhone has improved at all since updating to 2.0.2.
