I just got back from a week long vacation to southern California.  To kill some time today I spent some time in a cool area by the pier and beach in Santa Monica.  I happened to stumble into an Apple store.  They had a line of about 10-15 people waiting to pick up their iPhone3G’s which Apple had in stock.  I had a plane to catch which made it impossible for me to wait the roughly one hour it was going to take to get through the line.

So I came close to my 3G today but still no cigar.  I have several 3G apps to review in the queue here so I’m hoping to get the damn thing soon!
